Walter Anderson Museum of Art partners with National Geographic

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is hosting a three-day film workshop in partnership with National Geographic, as part of the “Slingshot Camp” program. The workshop aims for students to produce a one-minute video addressing environmental issues, with a special focus on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. These videos will also be entered into a national competition.

Given the unique geography of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, these students have an exceptional opportunity to create interesting projects, using the resources and extensive research opportunities in their own backyard.
