Picayune Police offering straw to keep pets warm

The Picayune Police Department is offering a way to keep outdoor animals warm.

On Saturday, Picayune Animal Control will be delivering straw to residents to keep pets warm.

The offer isn’t just for the city, those in Pearl River County can also sign up.

Call 601-749-5482 to sign up.

Animal control will deliver the straw between 1 and 3 PM on Saturday.

The department is working on a first come, first serve basis and the pet owner must be home.
