Biloxi School District mourns Upper Elementary teacher
The Biloxi School District said goodbye to one of its teachers this week.
In a social media post, the district said, “It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to one of our beloved Indian Nation teachers, Biloxi Upper Elementary School‘s Kristen Balius.
“Please hold her family, friends, school family and students in your thoughts and prayers.”
Bailus, 41, was married with three children.
In addition to teaching at Biloxi Upper Elementary, Balius also taught at Biloxi Junior High. She was with the district 12 years.
