WXXV’s Trey Tonnessen speaks to Highway Patrol about holiday season travel
The Thanksgiving travel enforcement period is in the books here in Mississippi and we’re breaking down the numbers now and looking head to the Christmas travel rush.

Across the state, troopers issued more than 6,600 citations over the Thanksgiving holiday, along with 187 crashes, and two deadly crashes.
Law enforcement officials here on the Coast are reminding you to stay safe and be on the lookout for dangerous driving in the weeks to come.
