Gulf Coast Homeless Coalition Think Tank hosted by Butch Oustalet Foundation

The Great Southern Club hosted the Butch Oustalet Foundation Tuesday.

A lunch was hosted to bring organizations together in an effort to bring an end to homelessness on the Gulf Coast.

Over the last few months, the Butch Oustalet Foundation has helped to identify gaps where better coordination could support those in need.

The foundation’s mission for 2025 is to prioritize and enhance support for the homeless population on the Coast. Director of Community Advocacy Leonard Papania said, “Today was our first step in the initiative that the Butch Oustalet Foundation wants to accomplish. It was bringing together a lot of the organizations that were already involved in addressing homelessness on the Gulf Coast. We wanted to talk to them, hear how they’re doing, see how they’re networking with each other. We are going to develop our action steps based upon this information we gain today.”

The Butch Oustalet Foundation says they hope many discussions will be hosted on the subject in 2025.
