Perkinston man dies in motorcycle-vehicle collision

A Perkinston man died Saturday evening in a two-vehicle collision in Harrison County.

Coroner Brian Switzer said 67-year-old Thomas Ingram was driving a motorcycle northbound on Riceville Road near the McHenry Road intersection when he collided with a southbound vehicle. The incident happened about 5:30 p.m.

Ingram was thrown from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
