Two St. Patrick student-athletes sign to continue their careers at MGCCC

On Wednesday, both Elizabeth Colson and Jacob Alexander signed to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Colson signed to continue her softball career with the Bulldogs, while Alexander signed to continue his baseball career. After putting pen to paper both Colson and Alexander spoke about what the day meant to them.

“The coaches, the atmosphere, everything was just amazing up there,” Alexander said. “From the first day I stepped on to take my visit it was just an amazing place to be. This high school means a lot to me. It has grew me as a player, grew me as a person, and the coaches have helped me along the ways all the way through the process too.”

“It means a lot,” Colson said. “It has been a long time coming. A lot of work was put into this by my family, my friends, a lot of people help me get here. It means a lot to not only me but them to. I’m glad that I could make them proud.”
