Eagles under the Oaks Charity Golf Tournament raises money for combat wounded veterans
The 13th annual Eagles under the Oaks Charity Golf Tournament teed off this morning.
Fifty-eight teams and 232 golfers joined forces to support the Combat Wounded Veterans of South Mississippi.
The Eagles Under the Oaks Charity Golf Tournament began in 2012, raising $14,000 to help support those who served our country. This event and fundraising total have undergone tremendous growth.
Keesler Federal Credit Union has raised more than $109,000 for the annual tournament that benefits the Combat Wounded Veterans of South Mississippi.
The tournament had been scheduled for the month of September, but was later rescheduled due to Hurricane Helene.
All money raised will stay in South Mississippi and benefit the combat wounded veterans.
