Hyena cub introduced to hyena exhibit at Hattiesburg Zoo

An update from the Hattiesburg Zoo, the hyena cub has been checked during a weigh-in.

Mother Pili’s cub is growing healthy and strong!

Due to the way hyena anatomy is, it will be a little longer until the Hattiesburg Zoo learns the gender of the cub.

Pili is also said to be doing good, with introductions between the cub and its siblings being successful.

Hattiesburg Zoo workers saying the cub already has an amazing personality!

The sub is currently in the hyena exhibit, be sure to meet them!
