New Rouses location now open in Biloxi

Biloxians have a new option when it comes to grocery shopping where all that road work is taking place.

City leaders helped Rouses officials cut the ribbon on the new store located on the corner of Pass Road and Popp’s Ferry Road.

It’s one of the largest Rouses now in the state of Mississippi and has all the typical features of a Rouses, which is known for its deli and seafood selection.

Customers and local leaders alike say they’re thrilled to have another option. D’Iberville resident Terrance Nehlig said, “The drive for this store is worth it. I like this Rouses better than any other Rouses I’ve been to. They really knocked it out of the ball.”

Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich said, “It’s an anchor to anything you do. So, they’ll be other businesses just because Rouses is open. They know this is a profitable situation. They will bring other tenants to this location and to the vicinity.”

This grand opening capped a busy month for Rouses’ Mississippi operations. A new store in Picayune opened in mid-September, giving shoppers there a third grocery option.
