Pass Christian Elementary students learn about voting at ‘Promote the Vote’ event

Pass Christian Elementary School students had their mock election on Tuesday. Students were encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to support the event.

Students at Pass Christian Elementary not only had the opportunity to mock vote on the presidential election, but also on the statewide offices as well.

Promote the Vote is the secretary of state office’s K through 12 voter education program.

This year’s theme is ‘This Land is my Land’ and encourages students to realize the impact young voting has for today and generations to come.
