Hyena cub born at Hattiesburg Zoo
Another new resident at the Hattiesburg Zoo!
The zoo announcing a hyena cub was born on September 25th.
At this time the cub has no name, but mother Pili and father Niru are both the parents.
The zoo saying Pili and the cub are doing well, Pili is nursing and bonding perfectly.
It is unusual for a female hyena to birth a single cub, with cubs having a 40% survival rate.
