Mississippi will have a float in 2025 Rose Parade

2025 is coming fast!

One event lots look forward to during the New Years Holiday is the Rose Parade in California.

Mississippi will have a float in the parade for the first time.

That float honoring music legends B.B. King and Elvis Presley.

While it may focus on those two artists, the float is also honoring the creation of the Blues in the Magnolia State.

The crossroads in Clarksdale is also being honored, being the location where musician Robert Johnson is said to have sold his soul for his musical talent.
