Mississippi Power sends team to help with Helene efforts

Mississippi Power doing its part to help with Helene restoration efforts in Georgia.

WXXV News 25’s Marco Bitonel has the latest on how they’ll be using their resources to restore power services to customers.

Earlier this morning, a Mississippi Power storm team departed for Georgia to help Georgia Power restore service to customers affected by Hurricane Helene.

Crews departed from around the company’s service territory and will be joining the restoration effort as the major hurricane makes landfall impacting South Georgia as early as Thursday evening.
