St. Stanislaus 5-star kicker Evan Noel makes Mississippi high school history with 61-yard made field goal in week four
Last week there was Mississippi high school history made as St. Stanislaus five-star kicker Evan Noel drilled a 61-yard field goal in their week four game against Pass Christian.
The Arkansas commit continues to impress not just in the Magnolia state, but all around the country. Proving that he has one of the strongest legs in all of high school football. WXXV sports director Jevan McCoskey had the chance to speak with Noel following his record-breaking kick. He spoke about what was going through his mind as he walked out on the field to attempt the 61-yarder.
“My Mindset, really, was just nothing to lose,” Noel said. “I want more. I want to try more long ones like that. Not just for the record, just to see how it is, get comfortable to kicking those long ones because i am probably going to be doing that in college.”
