West Harrison Field House named after Mitchell King

The Harrison County School District is honoring former superintendent Mitchell King in a big way.

The new West Harrison Hurricanes Field House is named in honor of King.

King, along with school and district leaders gathered for a ribbon cutting and tour of the facility.

King retired back in July after 55 years of service to the school district.

Now his legacy is permanently enshrined through the field house.
