City workers spruce up Old Biloxi Cemetery
Biloxi maintenance crews were out at the Old Biloxi Cemetery this morning for some sprucing up.
A city official said the crews were out to cut grass and spruce up the cemetery.
Some residents were calling out the city on social media about the long grass, but the city has been stalled by a reduction in its maintenance force and daily showers that have prevented them from getting to the cleanup.
Another cleanup day is scheduled for October 11th in advance of the city’s annual cemetery tour on October 20th and 22nd.
