Mississippi Elections Division delivered suspicious package

Mississippi Secretary of State’s office revealed election officials in the Magnolia State were targeted with a suspicious package this week.

That package was delivered Monday to the Mississippi Elections Division, something that happened to election officials in eight other states.

The office was warned in advance about the potential to receive a suspicious package, immediately transferring it to the state Homeland Security officials.

The package allegedly contained a white powdery substance, currently being tested by the state Homeland Security officials.
