The New Orleans Saints improve to 2-0 after dominating in Dallas in week 2, defeating the Cowboys 44-19

Week two was a chance for the New Orleans Saints to prove that their 47-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in week one wasn’t a fluke. It’s safe to say they did just that as they defeated the Dallas Cowboys 44-19.In the Saints first road game of the season they traveled to Dallas, TX to take on the Cowboys for an NFC matchup. Not only did the Saints win – they dominated. The Black and Gold were in control rom the opening kickoff until the final whistle.

It was going to be difficult for the Saints offense to follow up their week 1 performance, but running back Alvin Kamara and company did just that. Kamara had 22 touches, 180 total yards, and scored four touchdowns on Sun. Derek Carr was brilliant once again, proving doubters wrong wile throwing for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

It wasn’t just the offense that performed. The defense sacked Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott three times and forced him into throwing two interceptions.

Although it is just two weeks, the Saints currently lead the league in scoring per game with 45.5 points scored per game. To be successful in the NFL you have to have a short memory with both the good and the bad – and that is exactly what the Saints will have to do in order to prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles as they come to Caesar’s Superdome for a week three matchup.
