$4.3 million grant awarded to the City of Hattiesburg

Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith announced more than $4.3 million to the City of Hattiesburg.

The grant addresses risks posed to public housing residents from lead-based paint and other housing-related hazards.

Senator Hyde-Smith saying the Hattiesburg Housing Authority will receive the grant funding through the Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
