Due to the potential impacts from Francine, schools on the Coast have announced schedule changes. WXXV News 25 will continue to update this list as more school schedule changes become available.
Hancock County School District will be closed Thursday, September 12.
Our Lady Academy will be closed Thursday, September 12th.
Christian Collegiate Academy will be closed on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Classes in the Bay Waveland School District will be canceled Thursday, September 12, 2024.
The Pearl River County School District will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, September 12.
Poplarville Schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, September 12th, 2024.
St. Stanislaus will be closed Thursday, September 12th.
Holy Trinity Catholic School will be closed Thursday, September 12th.
All Pass Christian School District Schools and offices will remain closed Thursday, September 12, 2024.
All schools in the Harrison County School District will be closed on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Pearl River Community College campuses will be closed Wednesday, September 11th, 2024.
The Biloxi Public School District will be closed Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024.
St. Patrick will remain closed on Thursday, September 12.
Coast Episcopal School in Long Beach will be closed on Thursday, September 12.
The MSU Extension Head Start and Early Head Start center in Harrison County will be closed on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Nativity BVM Catholic School in Biloxi will be closed on Thursday, September 12th.
The Long Beach School District will be closed on Thursday, September 12th.
Ocean Springs School District will remain closed on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
The Pascagoula-Gautier School District will remain closed Thursday, Sept. 12. All extracurriculars are canceled tomorrow, as well.
The Jackson County School District will be closed Thursday, September 12th.
St. Alphonsus will be closed Thursday, September 12th.
All schools in the Moss Point School District will be closed until Thursday, September 12th.
The George County School District has made the decision to keep all schools closed for students and staff on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
MGCCC will return to normal operations at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 12th.
St. James Catholic School will be closed Thursday, September 12th.
Due to the threat of severe weather related to Tropical Storm Francine, all William Carey University locations will be closed tomorrow – Wednesday Sept. 11. This includes WCU campuses in Hattiesburg, Tradition/Biloxi and Baton Rouge, La. A decision on campus closures for Thursday, Sept. 12, will be made on Wednesday evening.

The University of Southern Mississippi will close operations and cancel classes on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at all research and teaching sites along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The University of Southern Mississippi will shift to remote operations on Wednesday, Sept. 11 in Hattiesburg. Students should expect to hear from faculty regarding a transition to online course delivery.
