9/2 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Labor Night” Monday Night Forecast

Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen

A trough will begin digging southward Thursday into Friday. This will bring us a weak front pushing southward; and eventually stalling over the area near the coastal waters. This along with onshore flow pumping tropical moisture into the area will give us high chances of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and especially into Thursday. Thursday in particular will have to be monitored for heavy rainfall. The trough will continue to deepen, bringing some cooler air into the area later into this weekend. Specifics will still need to be perfected, but lower than normal temperatures will be forecasted into the weekend.
