Mississippi State Extension Service holds head start job fair

An organization here on the Coast that promotes school readiness for children and families hosted a job fair earlier today.

The head start program located on 34th Street in Gulfport held interviews from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. looking for lead teachers, assistants, and floaters.

It’s all part of the Mississippi State Extension Service, which works with programs like head start to build a successful model that can be shared and replicated statewide.

While the job fair has already concluded, those interested should apply with a resume, transcript, and a copy of a relevant degree or diploma.
