MGCCC students share their excitement on the first day of classes
Misssissippi Gulf Coast Community College kicking off its fall semester today.
Many new faces are experiencing college life for the first time our cameras stopped by MGCCC’S Perkinston campus to get some reactions to the first day of class, and the semester ahead.
It’s the first week of classes for many college students across the country and South Mississippi is no exception.
The football games and stuff like, that’s always pretty fun, you know, get out there with other people and just have a good time. So that’s what I’m most excited for, said Sophomore Grayson Nicolaisen.
The college experience, honestly, just hanging out, meeting new people, said Freshmen Christian Nelson.
I do really like that we have the LRC, which is, you know, we can get free tutoring and everything. And like access to computers, and we can get computers, if we need them. And just like seeing everybody. And, you know, making friends. And since the campus is small, you kind of like know everybody, said Sophomore Sophie Suter.
