12-year-old killed in shooting in Jackson County
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a reported accidental shooting death of a 12-year-old boy in the Helena community.
The shooting happened at the family home in the early morning hours Monday.
Investigators are awaiting autopsy and lab results.
No further information will be released until the case is presented to a grand jury.
