Southern Miss elevating Mississippi’s growth in biotech
Southern Miss is entering a collaboration this week to elevate the Magnolia State’s biomaterial research, education, and workforce development.
It comes after Southern Miss researchers identified a need to focus on treatment of diseases and injuries associated with the immune system.
The main goal of the center for molecular and cellular biosciences in the development of polymers and materials needed for testing.
The project comes with a $2.5 million price tag.
