Extended road closure for area of West Magnolia Street in Gulfport

(Gulfport, MS) – Due to the repair of a sewer cave-in, the City of Gulfport has issued an ‘Extended Road Closure’ for the citizens and businesses of West Magnolia Street between Courthouse Road and Cleveland Avenue.

Courthouse Road, Commerce Street, and Cleveland Avenue will serve as the designated detour route, ensuring minimal disruption to citizens and businesses in the area.

Citizens who live within the work zone of West Magnolia Street, Springwood Court, Brandi Lane, and the Sugar Mill Apartment Homes, will always have access to their residences.

The ‘Road Closure’ has been extended from Friday, July 26, 2024, through Friday, August 9, 2024, at 3:30 PM, weather permitting.

The City of Gulfport is asking all residents to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
