MDMR certifies July’s finfish records
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified two impressive records for the month of July!
The two anglers set the tackle saltwater fishing records, but the impressive part is they used a spear!
The first up is Joseph Rizzuto of Slidell, catching a Gray Snapper weighing about 15 pounds.
Next is Sean Cook of D’Iberville.
Cook caught an Atlantic Creolefish that weighed one pound, 10 ounces.
