Southern Miss teacher residency program receives big grant

The Southern Miss Golden Eagle teacher residency program received a huge grant.

AmeriCorps awarded over $300,000 to support educator preparation at the graduate level.

Up to 30 graduate teacher residents will have the ability to serve within partner school districts.

Three of those districts are on the coast: The Jackson County, Moss Point, and Pass Christian School Districts.
