Long Beach’s new Career and Technical Education center nearly finished

Long Beach School District’s Career and Technical Education Center is nearly ready to welcome its first year of students.

Previously, the district was hosting its CTE courses at the high school, but this new building offers students more room to learn and get hands-on with their craft.

CTE Director Patrick Bennett says the building will be a game changer in launching new careers.

“This gives students an opportunity and it really shows that the district, the state, and the community – we’re looking out for every kid,” Bennett said. “For me, it’s about giving every student at the high school a place and letting them know their future is important to us.”

In the coming days, we’ll take you on a tour of the finished building!
