Red Snapper season coming to a close

Red Snapper season is coming to a close this weekend.

That’s according to the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.

The season’s close comes at 11:59 PM on July 7th.

After the closure, no Red Snapper can be caught in the state’s territorial waters.

Anglers are encouraged to close out any trips as soon as possible so information can be compiled by MDMR.
