Records set for saltwater fishing in June
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified two state saltwater fishing records for June.
The first honored is Nathan Bosarge of Biloxi.
Setting a tackle record for Golden Tilefish, that fish weighing 23 pounds.
A Gautier man set a record as well!
Mark Kleinpeter used a spear in this case.
Kleinpeter set the record for a Permit, that fish weighing 11 pounds.
