Ocean Springs alum Garrett Crochet officially leads the MLB in strikeouts with 141 K’s

 In his start against the Colorado Rockies, Ocean Springs alum Garrett Crochet jumps to the top of the MLB ranks as the new leader in strikeouts with a total of 141.

On the mound for the Chicago White Sox, left-hander Garrett Crochet pitched 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, two earned runs, no bases on balls, and eleven total strikeouts.

This was his sixth career double-digit strikeout game as well as he possesses an overall ERA of 3.02 after playing in 18 games.

I personally wouldn’t be surprised if we see his name soon on the all-star roster.
