Anytime we can have an event like this It’s just wonderful for our city and for those around us.”

Long Beach Community Affairs Director Courtney Cuevas said, “We really wanted to host something that involves the entire community, from the businesses decorating for the parade to businesses having booths with little games free for the community to local artists.”

“We owe so much of where we are today to our veterans, you know. Those veterans before not just the greatest generation but those before that, that have come along and have fought to give us what we have today.”
