Harrison County investigating fatal wreck on Canal Road

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is working a fatal wreck on Canal Road.

Deputies were called out about 8:13 a.m. after a motorcycle and an 18-wheeler collided in the southbound lane in front of the Clark’s station just north of Interstate 10.

Sheriff Matt Haley said a Life Flight helicopter was sent out, but canceled while en route.

Traffic on I-10 is not affected at this time, but motorists can expect delays on Canal Road.
