‘Amazing Women of South Mississippi’ debuts on WXXV Sunday

This weekend, we here at WXXV News 25 are rolling out a new segment called ‘Amazing Women of South Mississippi’ where we spotlight phenomenal women where you live.

Every Sunday, WXXV News 25 Evening Co-Anchor Christen Hyde will introduce you to a new amazing woman and tell you what makes her so special.

Our first amazing woman is Renee Marcellus. Here is a little sneak peek from that interview. “Well, I have always thought of myself as a servant. I feel like God has gifted me with the gift of hospitality and I have always just served people. And I serve at my church, I serve my husband, my children, my grandchildren… I try to model that servant.”

The ‘Amazing Women of South Mississippi’ segment will air each Sunday and on Monday mornings moving forward.
