Moss Point Mayor Billy Knight reflects one year after tornados

Moss Point Mayor Billy Knight spoke at an area council meeting today, updating people on the recovery efforts in the River City and looking ahead to the future as well.

Mayor Billy Knight said, “It’ll be exciting to think now how far we’ve come! Our people coming together, people from all over the country coming to help up has really gotten us back on our feet. We’re so grateful for all the support we’ve gotten and we’re looking forward to going forward with all these things we’ve been doing. After we stepped back from what happened, we see it now as an opportunity.”
