Celebrating Father’s Day at the Mississippi Aquarium

Sunday was Father’s Day and that meant a free ticket for dads to the aquarium.

Fathers were able to enjoy a nice day at the Mississippi Aquarium. The aquarium welcomed families all over the Coast to enjoy the day celebrating their dads.

Two dads shared their perspective on what it means to be a father to their children. Brent Byers said, “Would say that humility is probably the biggest thing. Obviously having integrity but being able to make mistakes in front of your kids, especially your boys, and being able to acknowledge it and call it what it is and even apologized for it. Instead of trying to teach your kids that, you know that you’re giving off this impression that you’re perfect.”

Miguel Lunbreraz said, “You have a family, you have somebody that looks up to you. You have the responsibility of making somebody else’s childhood good.”
