Kelvin Voneric Skinner

On May 08, 2024, Biloxi Police arrested 35-year-old Kelvin Voneric Skinner of Biloxi and charged him with Arson and Simple Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.

The arrest was made after officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Pass Road regarding a report of an unknown subject later identified as Skinner, barricaded in a room on the second floor, refusing to exit, while the building was on fire.

As officers spoke with residents in the area, they received information that the fire was intentionally set, and Skinner was identified as being the alleged suspect.

Skinner eventually jumped from the second story window and officers attempted to arrest him.

In the process, he kicked one of the officers in the chest, but was eventually arrested without further incident.

Skinner is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $150,000.00 bond, set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
