First responders respond to two shark incidents in Walton County, Florida
Friday, first responders in Walton County, Florida responded to reports of two shark incidents in the area.
Just after 1:15 pm, Walton County Sheriff Office and South Walton Fire District responded to a report of a woman being injured by a shark in the water near Water sound Way and Coopersmith Lane.
Later, the sheriff’s office and fire district responded to a second report on Shoreline Drive following multiple reports of a teenager injured by a shark.
The water is now closed to the public in Walton County.
