Summer Fair begins Thursday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum
Crews are making final preparations for the start of the South Mississippi Summer Fair.
Gates open at 5 p.m. Thursday evening. Opening day admission is free as is the Ferris wheel, but you’ll need to purchase an armband for other rides.
The fair is also bringing in new entertainment this year. Magicians will be performing magic shows each day and a nonstop foam party is among the new offerings. Mississippi Coast Coliseum Assistant Executive Director Michelle Menningmann said, “This year is our 37th annual Summer Fair. It’s one of the longest running family events you’ll find in Biloxi. So, we’re excited to bring this event again. On the entertainment side, we got the rocking circus. We’ve got wolves performing which is a first, we’re real excited about that.”
The fair begins Thursday and runs through June 16th. Closing times can change due to the weather.
