Lighthouse Dedication Ceremony to Honor George A. Schloegel
The City of Gulfport will be hosting a lighthouse dedication ceremony to honor George Schloegel next month.
That event takes place June 17th at the Gulfport Municipal Marina near the Ship Island Lighthouse at 8:30 a.m.
Mr. Schloegel was a former mayor of the city and a distinguished business leader.
Highlights include the dedication of the lighthouse, but there will also be a commemorative plaque being unveiled.
