Jeepin the Coast kicks off seventh year
Jeepin the Coast hosted their kickoff party at the Pass Christian Harbor on Wednesday, marking the start of their seventh year.
Crowds packed out the harbor to register their Jeeps, enjoy local vendors, and live entertainment. In seven short years, the event has grown immensely, garnering attention from across the United States.
Droves of people come to the Coast for not only the opportunity to show off their decked-out Jeeps, but mainly for the community.
We spoke to Pam and Bobby from Tuscaloosa about what makes Jeepin the Coast a travel-worthy event. “It’s the atmosphere. It’s the camaraderie. It’s an opportunity to meet people from literally all over the United States because people have traveled. I know some people who have traveled from Indiana just to be here and it’s just awesome.”
Jeepin the Coast President Jennifer Moran said, “I envisioned that it would be this big and even bigger, to be honest with you. I hope that in the years to come its just going to continue to grow because it’s beautiful here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. What better way to cruise around than in our Jeep with the top and doors off.”
