St. Martin alum Coby Gollott receives MACCC Honors with Co-Lin baseball program
The awards keep on rolling in for well deserved athletes, and this next one really hits close to home!
St. Martin alum and now Copiah-Lincoln Communty College right-handed pitcher Coby Gollott has earned All-MACCC second team honors for his outstanding leadership and performance on the mound.
He had a sensational sophomore year leading the Wolf Pack in innings pitched with 83.2 innings, which was the third most in the MACCC conference..
This season he had a 6-6 overall record with three saves and five complete games averaging a 3.87 earned run average. His 91 strikeouts were the second-most on the Wolf Pack staff and the top-10 mark in the conference.
Now that his years at Co-Lin are done, Gollot will now go on and continue his impressive baseball career at Mississippi College. Congratulations Coby, and we look forward to cheering you on at the next level as a Choctaw!
