Mississippi State’s Dakota Jordan wins 2024 Ferris Trophy

On Monday afternoon, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame revealed this year’s top college baseball player in the state of Mississippi. 

Mississippi State sophomore outfielder Dakota Jordan is the 2024 Ferris Trophy winner. Jordan started 55 regular season games for the Dawgs, raking in 17 home runs and 61 RBI’s to go with a .363 batting average. 

Other finalists for the Ferris Trophy include RJ Stinson of William Carey, Ethan Lege of Ole Miss, and Southern Miss outfielder Dalton McIntyre.
