George County Civil Air Patrol looking for new members

The Civil Air Patrol is now taking to the skies of George County.

The George County chapter currently has three adults who train and lead a seven-member cadet element in aerospace education.

The only other wing on the Gulf Coast is in Biloxi.

The George County wing was established back in January.

The program is open to any children ages 12 through 18 who are interested in aerospace education and serving their community, state, and country.
