Duplex Damaged After Fire

Investigators with the Gulfport Fire Department are looking into what caused a morning fire at a duplex on Hewes Avenue.

Fortunately no one was injured and authorities say the duplex appeared to be abandoned.
The building at the corner 25th and a half street and Hewes Avenue received moderate damage from the fire.
The cause is currently under investigation.
