Crews battle woods fire in Harrison County
Harrison County fire crews, along with the sheriff’s department aviation unit and forestry crews, battled a large woods and brush fire Tuesday.
The fire was contained to an area near South Carr Bridge Road, which is north of the Woolmarket area.
Multiple buildings and homes were threatened by the flames and crews used helicopters, drones, and brush trucks to prevent the fire from spreading further and impacting those properties.
No injuries were reported.
