Fifth graders graduate from D.A.R.E. program
Some outstanding Harrison County middle school students were given a big applause from D’Iberville Police for making the right decisions.
About 100 D’Iberville students graduated from the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program, better known as D.A.R.E.
With the help of D’Iberville Police, the 5th graders completed the 10 week program.
They learned about signs of stress, bullying, risky situations, confident communications, responding to pressure, and making safe and responsible choices – like saying no to drugs and alcohol.
As part of their awards, the D’Iberville Middle School students were given certificates and ribbons.
