High School Softball: St. Martin at Harrison Central
Excluding regular season tournament games, the Harrison Central softball team is a perfect 21-0 in 2017. On top of that, the Red Rebelettes are still undefeated at home with a mark of 12-0. Tonight, they put both records on the line against St. Martin.
Harrison Central wins 7-1.
Harrison Central Pitcher Juli Evans said, “It’s hard to explain. Like once we start going, I mean nothing can hold us back. We just let it loose.”
Harrison Central third baseman Amari Ramsey said, “Sometimes we get too relaxed. But when we’re having fun, we’re just a team that just can’t be stopped when we’re having fun.”
Harrison Central head Coach Jimmy Parker said, “Oh, it’s a great feeling. I think this is our, we figured it up a while ago, five years in a row we’ve been to South State. And we’ve won four out of the last five. So it’s a great feeling to get there, now we just want to take care of business when we get there.”
